On every 5th Sunday, Community has decided to be the “church scattered,” rather than the “church gathered.” We will pour into our community and show Christ’s love by serving in tangible ways.

 

We had three Serve Sundays in 2018 were we partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Knox County, Knox County Nursing Home, Courtyard Estates Knoxville, CASA of Knox county, Center for Children and Family Solutions Galesburg, The Forgotten Initiative, local residents, local Knoxville Schools. We also had teams prayer walking the Knoxville community and writing notes of encouragements to shut-ins and service members.

 

Our next Serve Sunday will take place on September 29th. Arrive to Community at 9:30 am for prayer and initial instructions before being sent out. Remember to wear clothing you are ready  to work in to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
