Suit Up: Truth vs. Lies (Ephesians 6:14)
In this message we explore how we can put on the Belt of Truth.  The enemy's power is in the lie. If we are able to expose the lie with God's truth we will win the battle!

**A large portion of this message was gleaned from the book, Victory Over the Darkness by Neil Anderson.

Suit Up: The Battle is Real (6:10-13)
There is a spiritual battle taking place that we can't physically see, but impacts our lives on a regular basis. God has given us all we need to stand firm in the days of evil. This sermon is an intro to a mini series (at the end of our Ephesians study) on spiritual warfare and the armor of God. Today we are reminded that the battle is real.

Rooted: Marks of a Healthy Church (4:1-16)
A healthy local church is marked by people living in unity with one another, individuals being equipped to use their unique gifts within that body,  and everyone growing in their walk with Christ together.  This message was followed by a serving card for people to considering exploring a place to serve and use their gifts. If you are the member of a church other than Community we challenge you to ask leaders in that church how you can begin to use your gifts in that body as well.

Paul's prayer in this passage reveals what needs to happen in a person's life to enable us to take transition from knowledge of who we are in Christ (chapters 1-3) to how we should live in light of our new identity (chapters 4-6). Where the first prayer in Ephesians is a request for spiritual wisdom, this prayer is a request for true spiritual growth.
