The message that followed was a brief reminder that we are called to be a church that both sends, partners with and supports God's mission for us to reach the world with His love. Ten and a half percent of all offerings received at Community Bible Church are used outside our church walls to support this effort. We are Better Together, and that includes those who the Lord has called to serve him in hard to reach places.

In the triumphant entry Jesus once again affirms his Kingship as the one who can save. It is not a military or governmental rule, but is a spiritual rule that is eternal. Will we share the true hope that the world is looking for with those God has placed in our lives?
- Feb 28, 2016The Life of Jesus – Part 7 (Mark 8)Feb 28, 2016The Life of Jesus – Part 7 (Mark 8)Mark 8:27-38 and Luke 9:23This message is a turning point in Mark's gospel. We turn our attention from Mark authenticating Jesus' authority on earth to highlighting Jesus' journey to Jerusalem, the cross and the resurrection. The true reason the Father sent him to earth in the first place. To provide redemption for all who would place their faith on Him. Who do we say Jesus is and does our life reflect that reality? To follow Jesus we must say no to our selfish ways, take up our cross daily, and follow him.
